Integrating Film in the Curriculum:
I am passionate about integrating film-making in the curriculum, and have been doing so in my classroom for the last 5 years. I have given lectures on the subject at both the 2010 and 2011 CUE Mini-Tech Fair, and the spring 2010 CUE Conference in Palm Springs. Last year I taught a workshop series for PSUSD on academic film-making, and I will do so again in January/February 2012. I will also be a speaker at the 2012 CUE Conference in Palm Springs. Please feel free to download the Sample Integrated Unit Plan I have written.

All of the movies featured under the "Multimedia" heading on this website were made by students in Room 208. In addition, the morning news show at JWMS, "BTV," is produced by students in my Journalism 2.0 class. The news show, along with more public service announcements created by my students, can be found on the JWMS website, The Crag:
