Video Message from Mrs. Pack because you have a substitute during 5th and 6th period today...

Introduction: The Police Force Project

Picture
You will work together in a group to answer an essential question: "What is the function and importance of the police force in our community?"

Using multiple sources of information, including articles, websites, and an in-person interview with a police officer, you will become an expert on the purpose and importance of the police force in our community.  Your group will collaborate on research through a shared Google Doc, and then you will produce a public service announcement and two print advertisements to educate others about the function and importance of Cathedral City's police department.

Our Process:

Big Ideas to Remember As You Work:

Credible: Able to be trusted with information that can be verified, written by an expert organization or individual.

2. You will need to cite facts and other evidence to support your statements about the function and importance of the police force in our community.
