Lunch Bunch Policy
What is Lunch Bunch?
Lunch Bunch is a school-wide schoolwork time that takes place during lunch. Students are required to attend Lunch Bunch if they have a GPA below 2.0. Students may access their grades at any time through Google Classroom and Synergy Student/Parent VUE.
Who is part of Lunch Bunch?
Any student who does not meet the GPA requirement of 2.0 or higher is part of Lunch Bunch. As the year progresses, student GPA scores are the result of averaged progress reports and trimester grades.
What if I complete missing work?
Good! Cross your assignment off the Homework Checkpoint list of missing assignments.
Homework and Absences
When is homework due?
Homework is any work that is not finished in class, including Reading Plus. If you fail to utilize class time effectively and do not finish your work, then you are responsible for completing it at home, after school, at lunch, before school, etc. See the homework page for more information.
What do I do if I am absent?
If you are absent, check your Google Classroom account. You are free to email or message me with any questions you have; try to do as much work as possible before you come back to school. However many days you were gone is the number of days you have to make up your work on time. After that, your work is late.
What happens to my grade when I turn in assignments late?
You are only able to turn in missing work during the month that it was due. All assignments will receive a penalty; you will only receive 75% of whatever score you earned. For example, if you earned 100% A+, the best you can score is a 75% C.
